With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Carol Dorrell of Marceline, Missouri, who passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sportsman and Ruth Sportsman (Scott); and her sisters, Thelma Jean Swain and Margaret Sportsman. She is survived by: her husband Leland Dorrell; her children, Leann Falkenstine (John) of Marceline, MO, Diane Torrez (Dubie) of Blair, OK, Joann Watkins (Morris) of Blair, OK, Shannon Matzke of Dallas, TX and Erin Hand (Stoney) of Marceline, MO; and her brother Joseph Sportsman (Sharon) of Marceline, MO. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Linn County Animal Shelter in Patricia's honor.
