She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Buckellew and Iris Buckellew (Meade); her former spouse Odes Franklin Lucas; and her husband James M. Brooks. She is survived by: her children, April Lucas of Marceline, MO, Odes T. Lucas of Platte City, MO, Jeremy Lucas of Slater, MO and Kalib Lucas (Holly) of Moberly, MO; and her granddaughter Zelda Lynne Lucas. She is also survived by three step grandchildren, and serval brothers.
