He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Wayne and Clara Marie Asher (Seymour); his spouse Lorbetta Verlene Reddick (Betsy); and his siblings, Clara Smith, Alton, Gilbert and Carlos.
He is survived by: his children, Lane R. Asher of Marceline and Penny C. Kelso of Old Hickory; his grandchildren, Johnathan Kelso (Elizabeth) of Lubbock, TX, Andrew Kelso of Lubbock, TX and Alicia Roberts of Lubbock, TX; his great grandchildren, Asher Lewis and Genesis Reyne of Lubbock, TX; and his sisters, Joyce Brecheisen (Howard) of Bartlesville, OK and Reta McVaugh of Kansas City, KS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
