It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris E. Phillips of Marceline, Missouri, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Hockett and Lenora Hockett (Disney); and her spouse Bobbie Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Danny Phillips (Jewel) of Brookfield and Denese Fisher (Gary) of Brookfield; her granddaughter Melissa Chesher (Chris) of Bynumville; her stepgrandson Lonnie Davis (Karla) of Marceline; her great grandchildren, Lauren Mauzey and Garrett Mauzey; and her stepgreat-granddaughters, Chelsea Niemeier and Hannah Davis.
