With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Eugene Akins (Marceline, Missouri), born in Brookfield, Missouri, who passed away on July 29, 2023 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Akins (Jack) and Rose Helen Akins (Podzimek); and his nephew Ryan Akins. He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Padgett; his children, Tim, Jenna of Marceline and Rachel (Tristen Creason) of Browning; his siblings, Jerry Akins (Mary Ann) of Scottsboro, Linda (Doug Black) of Brookfield and Joe Akins (Rita) of Austin; and his aunt June Stanley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, two great nephews, two great nieces.
