With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Edward Abeln of Marceline, Missouri, born in Salisbury, Missouri, who passed away on November 20, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Abeln and Mary M. Abeln (Kornbrust); his wife Bonnie Sue Fox; his daughter Jackie Ward; and his sons-in-law, David Gordon and Larry Ward.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sue Ann Gordon of Marceline and Cathy Jo Dow (Paul); and his grandchildren, Nathan (Shelli Gordon), Jacob (Jill Gordon), Ryan (Sara Gordon), Blain Gordon, Nicholas (Cami Ward) and Dustin Ward. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Bonaventure Cemetery and mailed to 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
