Joann C. Cockrell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2024, at the age of 88, Joann C. Cockrell of Marble Hill, Missouri, born in Trumann, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Frederick and Ara Bryant Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Tom Cockrell of Marble Hill, Missouri; her children, Bruce Butler (Dalana) of Adamsville, Tennessee, Vicky Anthony of Brevard and Michelle Murphree of Memphis, Tennessee; her sister Patricia Gerbinsky of Florida; and her grandchildren, Brandee Millington of Memphis, Jason Butler (Megan) of Cape Girardeau, Jessica Fann (Jakob) of Brentwood, Kyle Butler (Marissa) of Adamsville, Laurie Jarnigan (Jeff) of Alamo and Alexis Anthony of Texas. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
