He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gravil and Willa Mae Gravil (Reese). He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his children, James F. Gravil II, Cody Bertron, Michael Hunter, Chrystal Nelson, Tammy Gravil-Jeris, Misty McDow, Andrea Gravil, Shelly Caselton and Melinda Moore; and his brothers, Charles Gravil, Ferrel Gravil, Chris Gravil and Frank Gravil. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
