He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Man and Mary Louise James (Grimes); his brothers-in-law, Mack Young and Scott "Scoob" Reisenbichler; and his sisters, Carla James, Patricia Moore and Pamela Reisenbichler.

He is survived by: his siblings, Marty Aldrich (Joyce) of O'Fallon, MO, Manuel James of Springfield, IL and Sheila Young of Wood River, IL; and his brother-in-law Kevin Reisenbichler.
