She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Steinnerd and Cornelia Steinnerd (VanDoren); her husband Elmer G. VanGennip; and her sisters, Margaret Elfrink (Philip), Genevieve Elfrink (Joe), Winefrieda Beck (Elmer), Ursula Nenninger (Joe), Loretta Arnzen (Gene) and Monica Lewis (Champ).
She is survived by: her children, Michael VanGennip (Dorothy) of Marble Hill, Dianne Holzum (Melvin) of Leopold, Lynn VanGennip (Ruthy) of Marble Hill, Richard VanGennip (Tammy) of Marble Hill and Sharon Brucker (J. C.) of Chaffee; her grandchildren, Alissa Davis (Perry), Tammy Vandeven (Danny), Chris VanGennip (Tabitha), Jennifer Shore (Brian), Brian Holzum (Kendra), Holly Barron (Jeremy), Chad VanGennip (Tina), Kevin Holzum (Jill), Katie Trankle (Joe) and Matthew Brucker (Adrienne Eichhorn); her great grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Wyatt, Quentin, Audrey, Evelyn, Lillian, Lauren, Megan, Allison, Colton, Liam, Jenny, Christa, Logan, Brooklyn, Katelyn, Zoey, Connor, Charlotte, Machela, Amber, Georgia and Fred; and her great great grandchildren, Gus and Heidi.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hutchings - Pendergrass Funeral Chapel. A rosary was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church.
