He is survived by: his son Donald Ray Smith Jr.; his brothers, Bruce Smith and David Smith; his grandchildren, Haley Smith, Katelynn Smith, Serinitey Womack (Mason Dozier), Lacie Phillips and Karson Garcia; and his great grandchildren, Brooks Dozier, Jaeden Cooper and La'Ray Mason.
