He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Edd" Massey and Berdie Mae Carter; his wife Patsy; his sons, Stacey Todd Massey and Ronald Ray Massey; and his siblings, Jack Fields, Gene Massey, Jimmy Massey and Dorothy Stroud.
He is survived by: his son Garry Massey; his brothers, Don Massey (Barbara) and Eddie Massey (Iva); his grandchildren, Eric Massey (Rachel), Kelly Brotherton, Amanda Loughary and Brittney Smith (Rusty); his great grandchildren, Hunter, Hope, Nathan, Nicholas, Jaden, Jasmine, Justice, Joilee, Braylen, Stacey, Novalee, Courtney and Shain; and his great great grandchild Jackson.
