She was predeceased by: her husband Warren Sidney Childrey; her son Phillip Childrey; her parents, Aubrey Alsup and Olis Alsup; and her siblings, Aubrey Lee Alsup, Peggy Dennison and Johnny Alsup.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Childrey, Theresa Gabel (Chris), Amy Childrey, Jacqueline McBroom and Janet Bast (Greg); her grandchildren, Eric Childrey (Nancy), Jennifer Childrey, Vanessa Hamblen, Amy Childrey, David Childrey, Amanda Pratt (Justin), Jeremy Bast and Brian Bast; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Childrey, Katherine Childrey, Lillian Pratt, Kaetlyn Duke, Leo Duke, Ethan Lloyd, Olivia Lloyd and Alexander Lloyd.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jay B. Smith Maplewood Chapel (7456 Manchester Ave, Maplewood, MO 63143). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.

NO FLOWERS PLEASE AS MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY ARE ALLERGIC TO FLOWERS. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Darlis' name to either the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
