He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Arcine Nezat and Margaret Nezat (Dawsey). He is survived by: his wife Gladys Gellenbeck Averett; his sons, Malvin Arcine Nezat (Kim) of Splendora, Otis Dean Nezat of Mt. Bellview and David Allen Nezat (Gaelea) of Dayton, Texas; and his stepchildren, Paul Edward Averett (Phyllis) of Baton Rouge, Charles Darell Averett (Linda) of Mansfield, Missouri and Wanda Marie Brazeal (Bob) of LaPorte, Texas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and step grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and step great grandchildren; many relatives and friends.
