He is survived by: his children, Christopher Boewer (Sandra), Brenda Brands (Kevin), Kimberly Krakoviak (Peter), Mark Boewer (Julie) and Timothy Boewer (Melany); his grandchildren, Denise Boewer, Samantha Ioakimides (Nikolas), William Brands, Benjamin Brands, Mitchell Krakoviak, Alyssa Krakoviak, Kyndra Krakoviak, Jordyn Krakoviak, Katelyn Boewer, Riece Boewer, Izabella Boewer and Miya Boewer; his great grandchildren, Ellie Bower and Alexia Ioakimides; his sister Carolyn Cotta (Glen); and his brother-in-law James Reilly.
His love shined bright even during the most difficult days of caring for Ann as Alzheimer's began to sweep her away.
