He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Eugene Hern and Betty Jean Franklin Hern; and his sister Melinda Perez. He is survived by: his children, Earin Hern of Lamar, MO, Jonathan Hern (Kaitlynn) of Sedalia and Betty Hern (Dillon Wexell) of Malta Bend; his grandchildren, Derek Dobbins, Onyx, Serenity Cobb, Lilly Beth Hern, Thomas Sinnett, Brooklynn Hern, Dillon Wexell and Rylie Wexell; and his siblings, Jean Wahl-Berjarano, Mary Garcia-Berjarano, Shirley Serrano, Mike Hern, Rusty McPherson, Floyd Hern, Katherine Hern, David Hern, Angela Hern, Tracy Diaz and Daniel Jeremiah Hern. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
