He was predeceased by: his son William Timothy "Tim" Boedeker. He is survived by: his son Hal Boedeker of Orlando, Fla.; his brothers, John Boedeker (Ann), Jerome Boedeker (Patsy), Jim Boedeker (Helen) of Marshall, Wayne Boedeker of Tulsa and Okla; and his nieces and nephews, Christie Boedeker and Julie Boedeker Miller (Joe) of Marshall.

Memorials may be made to American Legion Post 558 for the Harrell and Marie Boedeker Scholarship Fund in care of Campbell-Lewis.
