She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Herman Sievers and Edna Viola Cantley Sievers; her husband Lawrence Morley Houston; and her brothers, Vernon, Eugene and Merlin Sievers.

She is survived by: her sons, Lawrence Morley Houston II, Gregory Clayton Houston and D. S. of Kansas City, MO; her grandsons, Andrew Ewing Houston (Yuri) and Evan Cantley Houston; and her great grandchild June Houston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Malta Bend United Methodist Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
