He is survived by: his mother Betty Mae Layne Robertson of Malden; his brothers, Johnnie Sampson (Judy) of Auburn, KY and Shawn Ammons of Bowling Green, KY; his nephew Bobby Ammons; his nieces, Latasha Jackson, Ashley Gilbert-Sampson and Abigail Ammons Manning; and his great-nieces, Amari Ammons, Addlynn Sampson and Jahdiya Gilbert-Sampson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
