It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Lester of Malden, Missouri, who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Allen and Viola Wheeler Allen; her husband Charles Lester; and her siblings, Herbert Allen, Leroy Allen, Vernie Allen, Jimmy Allen, Tommy Allen, Lillie Williams, Lois Paul, Betty Batson, Hazel Pickard and Isabelle Sandusky.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Perry of Arnold, MO and Dolores Gibson (Larry) of Jonesboro, AR; her grandchildren, Angie Hefilin, Stephanie Villand (Tom) and Jeffrey Perry (Amy); her great great grandchildren, Allison, Dylan, Conner, Jack, Flynn, Gabe and Willow; and her sisters-in-law, Elsie Rasco and Sue Allen. She is also survived by 2 stepdaughters; 1 stepson, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bradshaw Funeral Home, Inc.-Malden (1005 S Madison St, Malden, MO 63863). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
