Pecola Holloway Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pecola Holloway of Malden, Missouri, born in Crawfordsville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Boyd and Rosie Wilson Allen; her husband James Walter Holloway; and her siblings, Henry Brown, George Boyd, Willie Browns, Lillie B. Callaway, Elizabeth Byrd and Rosie Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Herbert Dean (Sandra) of Malden, MO, Rodney Holloway of Detroit, MI, Carol Holloway and Shell Holloway of Malden, MO; and her sisters, Christine Cole of Malden and Jesse Blake of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Malden Community Center (607 N Douglass St, Malden, MO 63863). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
