He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Charles and Emma Lena Hankins; his wife Alice Mae Lowery; his son Brian Douglas Hankins; and his brother Charles Alan Hankins.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Paul Hankins of Malden and Lloyd Keith Hankins (Suzy) of Brenham, TX; his grandchildren, Joyce Noel McCown, Lawrence Thomas Hankins (Candace), Emmalee Jane Hankins, Alice Ray Hankins and Ella Camille Hankins; and his great grandchild Lawson James Hankins. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family asks that Memorials be made to the Malden Lions Club.
