He is survived by: his children, Andrea Samons of Malden and Jon Samons (Sarah) of Malden; his grandchildren, KJ Samons (Emily), Jaylyn Samons, Lily Samons and Peri Samons; his great grandchildren, Isla Samons, Kyler Newell and Ocean Newell; his siblings, Richard Samons (Debra) of Rolla, Missouri and Sharon Steed (Joe) of Greenwood, Missouri; his nephews, Brandon Steed, Zach Steed, Nathan Ashby and Keith Okelley; and his niece Pat Okelley-Hughes.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Landess Funeral Home (201 N Douglass St, Malden, MO 63863). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
