With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay Ables of Malden, Missouri, who passed away on September 28, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kay Ables to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" McPheeters and Genevieve McPheeters; her husband Don Ables; and also Gretta Walton of Michigan. She is survived by: her siblings, Ann Mosely (Joe) of Malden and Steve McPheeters (Patti) of Sikeston; her children, Lee Vance Woodham (Laura) of Fenton, MO, Melissa Jacob (David) of Shelton, CT and Wes Ables (Colleen) of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Daniel Woodham (Meghan), Blake Woodham, Drew Woodham, Katie Jacob Carlino (Chris), Amanda Jacob Erickson (Ryan), Nate Jacob, Genevieve Ables and Ozzie Ables; and also, Marilyn (Bill) of Sikeston and Jo Cavanagh of Michigan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, 3 great grandchildren and many close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Landess Funeral Home (201 N Douglass St, Malden, MO 63863). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
