She is survived by: her daughters, Diane M Aikens of Malden and Verna Dean Sherrod of Malden; her grandchildren, Johnetta Davis, Yakita Dupree, Antwoinette Dupree, Julia Lenior and Darrian Aikens; her sisters, Betty Bell (William) of Gary, Vernita Driver of Gary and Elaine Aikens (Mary Ellen Aikens); her niece Sylvia Abbey (Clayton); and her brothers, Leroy Aikens (Gale) of Atlanta, Leotis Aikens, Jr. (Felicia) of Malden and Anthony Aikens (Delores) of Kennett. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
