He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Weems and Julie Mallie Carlyle Weems; his sons, Kevin Bradley Hammer, Brian Woodrow Rickman and Steven Lynn Rickman; and his brothers, Junior Weems, Bill Weems, Jerome Weems, Michael Weems and Roger Weems.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy D. Williams Weems; his children, Carl Rickman of Malden, William Sonnyman Hammer of Malden, Joseph Keith Rickman (Kristy Steward) of Dexter, Missouri, Teresa Brodham (Tom) of East Prairie, Carla Gail Everett of Blodgett, Lisa Carletta Shands (Mark) of Sikeston and Betty Amanda 'Mandy' Rhodes (Luke) of Sikeston; and his siblings, Gary Don Weems (Ann) of Russellville, Tennessee and Joanne Cartwright (Mike) of Matthews, Missouri. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
