It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George J. Moore of Malden, Missouri, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Moore and Isa Lena Harris Moore; his wife Mary Anna Nadine Long; and his children, Belinda Joyce Moore, Mary Anna Moore and Kenneth Moore (Ruthie) of Malden.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Paulette Grottke (Ron) of Faulkton; his granddaughters, Jessica Lobsinger (Gabe) and Christa Atkins (Mike); his great grandchildren, Laila Lobsinger, Levi Lobsinger, Ella-Joy Atkins and Kyla Atkins; his grandchildren, Jeremy Wilhem, Rodney Wilhelm, Craig Wilhelm, Heather Nadine Moore (Dwight), Hayden Joseph Clough, Eli Clough and Lillian Moore; his stepsons, David Cowart (Sharon) and Tommy Cowart (Tabitha); his stepgrandchildren, Heidi Harris (Jessie), Jonathon Cowart, Courtney Garner (Terry) and Brandon Cowart; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, DJ Cowart and Jade Cowart.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Malden United Pentecostal Church (22439 State Hwy J, Malden, MO 63863). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (17357 Stars and Stripes Way, Bloomfield, MO 63825).
