He is survived by: his children, Scott Simmons of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Gerri Ann Simmons of Kennett, Missouri; his sister Shirley Harris of Dexter, Missouri; his grandchildren, Tristan Simmons of Oklahoma and Sydney Patrick of Kennett; and his great grandchildren, Achilles Simmons and Milo Simmons.
