With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fredrich Douglas Schmittler of Malden, Missouri, born in Grayville, Illinois, who passed away on September 8, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerald Clifton Schmittler (J. C.) and Carolyn Hope Schmittler (Crome); his grandparents, Frank, Mary Schmittler (Storm) of Grayville, Lyman and Elizabeth Crome (Shepherd) of Albion; his significant other Marilyn Douglas of Malden, MO; and his siblings, Elouise Caruthers of Mountain Home, AR, John Schmittler of Kennett, MO and Marietta Schmittler of Grayville, IL..
He is survived by: his children, Angela R. Sengson (John) of Fincastle and Douglas S. Schmittler (Kathy) of Oklahoma City, OK; his grandchildren, Noah A. Pace Frederick, MD (Bella), Harper L. Pace of Charlottesville, VA, Barrett J. and Justin Schmittler; his nieces and nephews, Smith, Kim, Patti, Cathy and Chris; and also, Cotton, Diana Bennett, Jeremy, Stephanie and Christopher.
