Dortha Jean Perkins Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sim Cannon and Mary Cannon (Gene Autry Perkins); her son Bruce Cannon; and her siblings, Tom Cannon, Jack Cannon, James Cannon, Annie Mae Young, Hazel Gaines and Claudia Nix.

She is survived by: her husband Gene Perkins; her children, Adrienne Perkins (Gary) of Jonesboro, AR, Bridgette Cannon of Poplar Bluff, MO, Tondaly Butcher (Brad) of Kokomo, IN, Gene Perkins Jr. of Poplar Bluff, MO, Sheree Butler (Dushawn) of Jonesboro, AR and Joesee Perkins of Kokomo, IN; her siblings, Peggy McClatchey and Carnel Cannon; her niece Mary Kiser of Kokomo, IN; and her grandchildren, Marvin Cantrell, Malick Perkins, Shaeen Perkins, Paris Gill, Rahcee Gill, Schrena Leavy, Desiree Perkins, Angel Cannon, Jonas Cannon, Brian Cannon, Lyric Perkins, Destiny Perkins, Dushawn Butler Jr., Breshante Butler, Brucana Butler, Braden Butler, Branashia Butler, Courtney Perkins, Doncosta Perkins, Andrewniquis Perkins, Charez Butcher, Johnatha Cannon and Dream Perkins. She is also survived by other family members, friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Malden Community Center (607 N Douglass St, Malden, MO 63863). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
