He was predeceased by: his father Roy Yarbrough; and his brother Michael Yarbrough. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Yarbrough of Malden; his daughters, Amanda Heilman (Sean) of Zelienope, PA and Laura Sterling of Scott City, MO; his brother Timothy Yarbrough (Pamm); and his grandchildren, Camden Sterling, Gracen Heilman, Sylvia Heilman, Shayla Sterling and Saoirse Heilman. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

He passed from this life on September 29, 2022, at his home in Malden after a long fight with Alzheimer's disease.
