He was predeceased by: his mother Connie Dewayne; and his brother Billy Gene Meadows. He is survived by: his mother Jeannetta Kaye Floyd Edward, Sr. of Campbell; his sisters, Mary Ruth Blevin of Campbell and Melanie Stearns of Campbell; and his children, Avery Dewayne Edwards (Connie Dewayne Edwards, III), Janay Thacker of Malden and Cassie Cole of Malden.
