She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Jerlean Davis and James Willie Davis; her uncle James Kelley; and her aunts, Sondra James, Vonda James and Linda Cockerhan.

She is survived by: her mother Brenda Moore (Willie) of Kennett, MO; her sons, Sedrick James of Memphis, TN, William James of Kennett and Barkley James of Florida; her sisters, LaRhonda James of St. Louis, MO and Phoebe Brown; and her cousins, Leon Irvin and Contessa Irvin. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
