He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Kirtley; his children, Linda Hendren (Laverne) of Madison, MO, Richard Wood (Linda) of Madison, MO and Barbara Hoggatt (Johnnie) of St. Joseph, MO; his grandchildren, Darrin Hendren of Madison, MO, Dana Hendren-Graham of Madison, MO, Scott Wood (Rebecca) of Madison, MO, Stacy Wood of Madison, MO, Derek Wood (Becky) of Madison, MO, Tamara "Tami" Bachman (Donnie) of Liberty, MO, Tobias "Toby" Hoggatt (Kristi) of Kansas City, MO and Travis Hoggatt (Kristin) of St. Jospeh, MO; and his sister Geraldine Heathman of Kansas City. He is also survived by 14 great-great grandchildren.
