He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Norton and Anna Norton (Stewart); his wife Margaret "Peggy" Norton; and his brothers, Billie and Donnie.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Gay (Tom), Kenny Norton II (Sharon), Helen Warren (Dan), Raymond Norton (Charla), Margie Norton and Robert Norton (Trish). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five siblings; several nieces; nephews; cousins; extended family and close friends.
