She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harrison and Irene Harrison (Delaney); her husband William Porter Slaton; her son John Harrison Slaton; her daughter-in-law Sandra Slaton; her grandson Thomas William Slaton; her siblings, Poole Harrison, Mary Slaton (Marion), Elizabeth Green (Cleo), Flemma Unterbrink (Elmer) and Grace Knipmeyer (Calvin); and her sister-in-law Frances Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, James Porter Slaton of Madison and Esther Grace Shultheiss (Dave) of Texas; her granddaughter Melissa Slaton of Montrose, CA; her siblings, Elton Morgan of Madison and Martha West (Larry) of Bellevue, NE; and her sister-in-law Donna Harrison of Columbia, MO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
