It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Burton of Madison, Missouri, born in Clark, Missouri, who passed away on July 22, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ruby and Estelle Burton (Martin); and his brother Thomas Albert Burton. He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judy"; his daughters, Sarah Kraber (Dennis) of Reeds Spring, MO, Sharon Stacy (James) of Clark, MO and Brenda Burton of Huntsville, MO; his stepdaughters, Julie Forsyth (John) of Columbia, MO and Jill Housh (David) of Gallatin Gateway, MT; his grandchildren, Roxy Kraber, Alesha Hafemeister (Eric), James Brown and Thomas Stacy; his stepgrandson Will Forsyth; and his great grandchildren, Andie Brown, Kyler Hafemeister and Kaden Hafemeister.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation, Bevier First Baptist Church, or Hospice Compassus of Macon.
