It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Elaine Poor (Macon, Missouri), born in Philadelphia, Missouri, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Roscoe "Spot" Poore; her husband Robert Poor, Sr.; her mother Edna Mae Poore-Hamilton; her brother Paul Poore; and her children, Cynthia McGee and Robert Poor, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Maloney (Tom) of Macon, MO and Donna Boze (Doug) of Bevier, MO; her grandchildren, Tricia Adams, Jeromy Boze, Amanda Kindle, Jarrod Poor, Molly Barbour and Kim Houf; and her great grandchildren, Kelsey Adams, Pamela Bufkin, Stephanie Mundwiller, Wyatt Boze, Morgan Boze, Andrew Jernigan, Mikal Harpster, Connor Kindle, Logan Kindle, Amanda Barbour, Micaela McAlexander, Jaxson Houf and Mallory Houf.
Memorials may be made to the Crossroads Christian Church or the Macon County Food Pantry.
