He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Edmond and Lida Mary Macklin (Vincent); his former wife Dora Lee Macklin; his daughter Brenda Schlipf; and his siblings, Velma Corzette, Sandra Lorrick, Phylis Gwynn, Henry Macklin and Daryl Vinson Macklin.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Macklin; his daughter Verna Simmons; his stepchildren, Donna Fessler and Don Johnson; his grandchildren, Jason Snarr, Charles Falkiner and Dakota Simmons; his great grandchildren, Sydney Snarr, Melissa Cooper, Trysten Snarr, Austin Falkiner, Lydea Snarr, Ayden Snarr, Haylee Seabolt and Zack Simmons; his great great grandchildren, Paisley Snarr, Milo Snarr and Kingston Cooper; and his sister Ruth V. Jean. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
