Thomas Oliver Mixen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Oliver Mixen of Macon, Missouri, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" L. Mixen and Carol Mixen (Kenzal); and his brothers, John and Jimmy. He is survived by: his wife Emma Lou Craig of Macon; his daughters, Bobbi Jo Meneely (John) of Chillicothe, MO and Tarah Bennett (Brian) of Pontiac, IL; his grandchildren, Carter, Cooper Lucas, Alexa Bennett, Keegan Roth, Gabe, Audrie and Kinser Meneely; and his siblings, Bob Mixen (Valerie), Kathy Noonan (Mike), Bill Mixen (Sharon) and Patrick Mixen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, in-laws and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home (301 N Rubey St, Macon, MO 63552). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Maplewood Cemetery or the Macon Elks Lodge Scholarship Program.
