It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Adlee Flanagan Herndon Griffin of Macon, Missouri, born in Sullivan, Missouri, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard "Red" Flanagan and Martha Deloma Flanagan (Rouse); her husband Floyd Russell Griffin; and her siblings, Deloris Tabor of Macon, Rosalee Ravenscraft (Ralph) of Hallsville and Jake Flanagan of Iowa.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Herndon of Macon, MO., Mary Herndon-Wilt (Russell) of Macon, MO. and Larry Herndon (Lynn) of Macon, MO.; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Morris, Amy Lolli (Jimmy), Julie Gander (Jeff), Aaron Herndon, Ashley Herndon, Curtis Herndon (Laura) and Allison Aldridge (AJ). She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Open Arms Baptist Church of Macon.
