He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Leslie and Vivian Mae Smith (Lockhart); his siblings, Roy Via, Gene Via, Bill Smith and Kathy Moore; and his son Jeremy Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Smith of Macon; his children, Jessica Smith, Lindsey Smith of Bevier, MO, Jamie Smith (Katie) of Columbia, MO and Weston Wineinger of Bevier; his daughter-in-law Lesley Wineinger of Macon; his grandchildren, Cade Martin, Dylan Richardson, Sydney Durham, Ethan Smith, Brayden Wineinger, Britton Wineinger, Logan Wineinger, Riley Wineinger and Eli Lampkin; and his brother Kenny Paul Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other extended family.
