He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kohl and Mary Doris Kohl (Dasch); his sister-in-law Wilma J. Kohl; and his son-in-law Monty Moore. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kohl; his children, Sarah Moore of Lawson, MO, Edward Kohl (Alexandra) of Des Moines, IA and Emily Blakey (Bob) of Lee's Summit, MO; his grandchildren, Katey, Garrett, Mary, Morgan, Leo, Odin, Audrie and Charlotte; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Ragan, Macey and Cooper; and his brother Russell Kohl of Macon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, in-laws, and other extended family.
The family suggests memorials to the Macon County Food Pantry.
