He was predeceased by: his parents, Tolman Tate and Ona Tate (Bealmer); and his siblings, William Lee Tate and Lena Mae Russell. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Guilford; his children, Minda Weigand (Ken) of Clever, MO, Kent Tate (Kristi) of Bevier, MO, Ryan James (Justine) and Benjamin Tate of Houston, TX; his brother Don Tate (Alberta) of Springfield, MO; and his sister-in-law Lou Emma Tate of Macon. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
