With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kermit Hiatt of Macon, Missouri, who passed away on December 3, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Edwin and Charlotta Faith Cooper Hiatt; his brother Edwin Hiatt; and his grandchildren, Jenna Parsons and Logan Hiatt.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Hiatt; his children, Kim Dodd (Speedy) of Shelbina, MO, Denise Coffman (Michael) of Loveland, CO and Mike Hiatt of Winterset, IA; his grandchildren, Hanna Snider (Brandon), Caleb Dodd (Kristin), Ethan Dodd (Jordan), Hillary Coffman Miller (Josh), Corey Coffman (Alex), Megan Hiatt and Fayth Hiatt; his siblings, James Hiatt (Pat) of Gerald, MO, Linda Taylor (Garry) of Brasher, MO and Lila Thompson (Ernie) of Fairview, TN; and his sister-in-law Becky Hiatt of Owensville, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be made to Gibbs Union Cemetery or Donor's Choice.
