With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Eugene Douglas (Macon, Missouri), born in Belleville, Kansas, who passed away on April 21, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lester Douglas and Bessie Katherine Douglas (Goodwin); and his siblings, Max Douglas, Marjorie, Dorothy, Helen and Joyce.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley June Thompson; his children, Kevin Douglas of Columbia, Missouri and Sheila Thurman; his son-in-law Kendall of Clive, Iowa; his grandchildren, Luke Thurman (Amanda), Jerod Thurman, Lauren Wulff (Kaleb) and Chandler Davis; and his great grandchildren, Jude, Ryn, Tyler and Gavin Thurman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
