He is survived by: his mother Vivian Owens (Chrisenberry); his wife Lana McQuitty; his son Conner Owens; his stepchildren, Amelia Holder (Steve) of Macon, Kyrsten Hicks (Garret) of Macon and Caleb Carnahan (Nikki) of Weston; his grandchildren, Lauren Jones (Bryant), Gabrielle Isom (Brad), Shelby Buttone (LeRoy), Madyson Wright (Brock), Taylor Binkley, Cade Hicks, Elyson Carnahan, Dublin Carnahan and Kalissa Sullivan; his great grandchildren, Jimmy, Everett, Judah, Emelyn, Parker and Adah; and his sister Tammy Anderson (C. W.). He is also survived by niece and two nephews.
