He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Howard and Mary Alice Carter (Wickizer); and his brothers, Howard and George Carter. He is survived by: his wife Shelley Carter of Macon; his son Heath Carter (Ruth) of Trenton, MO; his grandchildren, Alexandria Carter of Maryville, MO and Jerod Carter of Trenton; and his sisters, Janet Kelley (Charles) of Macon and Martha Thornhill of Blue Springs, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Crossroads Christian Church (1816 N Missouri St, Macon, MO 63552). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials to the Randy Johnson memorial Fund.
