He is survived by: his wife Tracy Smith of Macon; his children, Danielle Smith of Des Moines, IA and Jeffery Smith of Des Moines, IA; his stepson Charles Curtis Mitchell (Cary Cook) of Macon, MO; his grandchildren, Dawntrinay, Marzenai, Jontay and Jacari; his stepgrandchildren, Dionne, Tynan and Cash; and his siblings, Catherine Weaver (Emanuel) of Des Moines, IA, Albert Smith (Roseanne) of Des Moines, IA and Frank Smith (Gretchen) of Bloomington, MN..
