He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Carl Franklin; his wife Betty Sue Yount of Macon, MO; his children, David Yount of Macon, MO, James Yount, Jr. (Paula) of Florissant, MO, Ron Yount of Macon, MO, Paul Yount (Tuyet) of Garland, TX, Carla Yount Rodriguez of Tucson, AZ, Mary Jennings (Johnnie) of Macon, MO, Nancy Blakley (Bill) of Huntsville, TX, Dale Richardson of Novelty, MO, Tim Richardson (Ronda) of Gibbs, MO and Jeannie Blair (Raymond) of Macon, MO; his sisters, Carylon Pierce, Linda Kay Yount and Shelby Carrol Yount; his father Franklin Yount (Correll); and his siblings, Carl Franklin Yount, Jr., Warner David Yount and Mytle Frances Yount. He was also cherished by several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
